"T'was a night that made the Hollywood hills beam with a radiance that had been missing for many years - years, when the sign spelled - HOLLYWOOD LAND, and the glamor-talent-magic that emanated below it's prevue, and reached out to THE WORLD, heralding to one and all - THIS! IS ENTERTAINMENT. Dear Maggy, The night that I saw your show, YOU, were the personification of that word! The Word? Entertainment!

“You’ll sing and hum to Maggy Simon’s choice of songs. The girl sure has it... did someone say CARNEGIE HALL?”
— Martin Massman, Center Theatre Group

— Monica Lewis, Top 1940s-50s Jazz & Pop Vocalist

— Les Traub, CABARET SCENES Magazine
“The performance is over, but I’m certainly not over the performance. To put it mildly, Maggy Simon was a SMASH! Over the moon, lively.... What an evening!”
— John Seitz, Editor, BEVERLY HILLS COURIER
"Maggy Simon, a real and genuine talent that harkens back to those years and times where one ether had it - OR didn't!
There, (at the time ) weren't any phony electronic gadgets to enhance a performance -e.g. intonation adjusters - et.al.Voice? Talent (that overflows to any and every audience) Looks? very easy to see and marvel at- but More-MUCH more than any of my aforementioned descriptions - Maggy has the innate God given talent and energies -to take flight from the stage and to find her way into your heart -and if (at her Shows) your fortunate enough to be with one that you love -her effect on the both of you will be overwhelmingly wonderful.
There is a caveat here for me when I write something about her that in fact makes me rather sad-and that is if Maggy was living in and or around New York City-- she would be lighting up Broadway - even a bit more- as her name and marque presence would be a wondrous Maggy Simon thing -a thing that to any of us into the muse would also reflect that little added glow to the : Great White Way."
